It&#039;s sad to say that so many of the most wanted coins are simply  not as rare as the less wanted. I would much rater own a very rare 1864-S half eagle over a 1870-CC or 1871-CC $20.00 - $10.00 - $5.00. The 1864-S is much rarer than these promoted coins and look how often they show up at auctions!  It&#039;s great that you tought us colectors and dealers what to really look for in finding a truely rare coin!
