It's sad to say that so many of the most wanted coins are simply  not as rare as the less wanted. I would much rater own a very rare 1864-S half eagle over a 1870-CC or 1871-CC $20.00 - $10.00 - $5.00. The 1864-S is much rarer than these promoted coins and look how often they show up at auctions!  It's great that you tought us colectors and dealers what to really look for in finding a truely rare coin!
